DESIGN FOR DEBATE
Group 2: Ahana Kothari, Sam Mitchell, Sam Brown, John Digby, Emma Stephenson.
What is a dogma: A dogma is an established opinion or belief.
Design Brief: Our brief it to think about dogmas, discover one and then go against our choosen dogma. To design a conceptual product that is anti dogmatic in nature.
As a group we put thought behind what established beliefs and principals surround our everyday lives. To the right you will see the ideas that were initialy generated.
After this initial generation of ideas social media was the route that we decided to take. The dogma behind social media being that it is an established opinion that you are to promote yourself on social networks, to show the best possible digital version of yourself.
Social Media:
More brainstorming was then done focused directly at social media, the variety of platforms, what is common within these platforms and the risks that could be associated with going against the dogma of portraying yourself in the best possible light.
This research is displayed as mind maps from our thought generation and mood boards from the research performed into the current popular social media platforms.

Final Logo for Spychat
This is the final logo of our Spychat app.
As seen from the story board below, Spychat allows friends to connect to each others phones, without the other person knowing. This can be done through the app and allows them to spy on the other person and record personal and embarrassing moments. this can then be uploaded to Facebook which increases the embarrassment and excludes the person from "cool" social groups.
We also made a video depicting the use of the Spychat app.
